Travis Kelce’s love life might be making headlines with Taylor Swift these days, but his ex, Kayla Nicole, has yet to get back into a relationship since they broke up.

In a Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test episode, Kayla opened up about the emotional toll of seeing her name reduced to “Travis Kelce’s ex” in headlines.

“Going through a public breakup, just to be frank, it’s been overwhelming. I’ve never experienced anything like it,” she said.

Nicole was in an on-and-off relationship with Kelce for five years, from 2017 to 2022.

Kelce, who has been dating Taylor Swift since the summer of 2023, seems to be headed toward marriage, while Kayla Nicole is still trying to find herself.

“Love is one of the best parts of life,” Nicole told People Magazine. “I would never close myself off to ever experiencing love again.

“I think too, with love comes heartbreak and with heartbreak comes love. It’s one and the same, and I would take the risk of heartbreak over and over if that meant that I get to experience love again.”

Unfortunately for Kayla Nicole, she is not seeing very much, which has piqued her interest in the dating pool.

“Yeah, I mean, dating-wise, out on these streets is rough. Okay? The men these days, I just said the other day, it’s not God’s best work out here…. but I’m dating. I’m dating. Successfully? Ah, the jury’s still out, but I’m dating.”

Kelce and Nicole went through several relationship ups and downs before splitting for good in 2022.

Many thought they would eventually find themselves back in a relationship until he began dating Swift, and things changed drastically.

Kayla Nicole is More Than Just Her Looks

Prior to dating Kelce, Nicole graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.

Nicole originally made a name for herself as a sports broadcaster and has reported from the sidelines of NBA and NFL games.

Nowadays, Nicole utilizes her social media as a fashion model as she has partnered with brands like Revolve, Savage X Fenty, and True Religion.

Things have been quite challenging for Kayla Nicole following her relationship with Travis Kelce.

Nicole, Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, stars in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season 3, and she isn’t letting her past relationship go very easily.

In the second episode of Fox’s intense competition series, Nicole discussed her five-year relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, which ended in 2022.

“Going through a public breakup, just to be frank, it’s been overwhelming. I’ve never experienced anything like it,” Nicole said in a confessional at the beginning of the episode, adding that she was “reduced to a headline to something so small as someone’s ex-girlfriend.”

That would not be the final time that she brought up Kelce.

In the latest episode, Kayla Nicole seemingly spoke on Travis Kelce once, although she did not state his name.

“Full transparency, there’s a part of me that wishes I was addressing this farewell to my husband and kids too, she read in part.

“I always thought at this part in my life that I would have that tribe,” she finished.

Fans blasted her for constantly bringing up Kelce despite him being very much in love with Taylor Swift:

“She is so mad 🤣,” one fan said.

“I am so happy for Travis now,” another fan added.

“This makes me happy for Kelce,” a third fan stated.

“Maybe she should have just paid the tab a few times, and Travis wouldn’t have dumped her ass 🤷‍♂️,” a fourth fan said of Kayla Nicole.

One final fan added: “What a loser and envious witch. Obviously, he didn’t love you and had no intention of marrying you. If over 50% of marriages end in divorce, that means 90% of short flings will end. She had a lot of things not going in her favor. Go cry me a river.”

Kayla Nicole Places Blame On Taylor Swift

Influencer and model Kayla Nicole once had close relationships with Brittany Mahomes and other wives and girlfriends on the Chiefs.

Nicole, the woman who dated Travis Kelce from 2017 through 2022, is now on the outside looking in.

Nicole was reportedly frustrated over what she perceives as being “pushed out” of the spotlight due to the emergence of Taylor Swift.
