D’Acampo’s minute-long video saw a line of people waiting to get their books signed by the TV chef as he embraced shoppers.

The TV chef shared the video on his Instagram page today but Asda confirmed to The Sun that it was taken in November 2024.

Alongside the video, he wrote: “Always fantastic to meet my fans, you guys are just awesome. Thank you ASDA for having us… “

This comes just a day after the TV chef was hit with fresh claims of “inappropriate and intimidating” behaviour.

ITV has cut all ties with D’Acampo, 48, after “over 40 people” have come forward following an ITV News investigation.

The channel “has no plans to work with him” after its probe revealed allegations of s3xually inappropriate comments.

ITV has axed Family Fortunes, which D’Acampo hosts, and dropped two episodes of Gino’s Italy: Secrets of the South scheduled for this weekend.

The allegations against the chef have spanned over 14 years.

ITV News said it has seen evidence at least one production company was aware of concerns made by its crew.

D’Acampo says he “firmly denied” all allegations made against him.

ITV’s Sejal Karia said on Friday night: “More people have today come forward with further allegations about Mr. D’Acampo.

“It means that we’ve now spoken to more than 40 people who say they either witnessed or experienced alleged inappropriate and intimidating behaviour by the celebrity chef.

“We have also spoken to several people who say they had a positive experience with Mr. D’Acampo.”

One woman who made claims against the TV personality, who has been given the name Hannah for her protection, told ITV News: “It is all very disappointing, he could have come out and said he was really sorry, that he was going to take some time out and reflect on what had happened and what he’s been accused of.

Gino’s response in full

In a statement to ITV News, Gino D’Acampo said: “I have been told by ITN news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over ten years ago.

“I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone.

“This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.

“Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately.

“I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of.

“I take such matters extremely seriously and the suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting.”

“But what he should have said initially that he was sorry that he has hurt all these people. It is classic bully behaviour.”

Another woman, who worked with the TV chef on a project in 2018, said in a statement coming forward “took a lot of courage”.

She called D’Acampo’s denial “disappointing” and called on the production company to “remind Gino” and “jog his memory”.

In a statement responding to these allegation, D’Acampo said he had “never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied”.

The statement added: “I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone.

“This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.”
