Loose Women takes DRAMATIC turn as Coleen Nolan snaps ‘DON’T TOUCH ME!’ at stunned Ruth Langsford after being cut out of debate

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan was left less than impressed after her co-star Ruth Langsford appeared to snub her during a conversation on the daytime programme.

During Tuesday’s instalment of the ITV show, the panel discussed Demi Moore’s speech at the Golden Globes and touched on whether past remarks can have a lasting impact.

And while Ruth, 64, turned to Brenda Edwards, 55, initially, who shared an anecdote about a former boss, and Janet Street-Porter, 78, reminisced about comments on her accent, Coleen’s, 59, moment to share seemed to be glossed over.

Not one to let it slide, Coleen pointed out: ‘Oh, you haven’t got time for me, so that’s going to stick with me forever.’

Chuckles filled the studio as Ruth honestly said: ‘I didn’t think you’d notice! I was like, “I’ve got to get on to the next topic, but she won’t mind”.’

Coleen mockingly quipped back: ‘Yeah, go on, I don’t care, no, don’t talk to me, don’t even touch me.’

Although the exchange appeared playful, Janet chimed in noting it was her first day back amidst their squabbling, reports the Liverpool Echo.

As the show progressed to a query on the lengths to support a child’s dream, Ruth, perhaps making amends, asked Coleen a question first before Brenda and Janet.

With a drop of sarcasm, Coleen said: ‘Oh, thank you for asking!’ before offering an insight into her own kids’ school days.

She expressed that it is essential for parents to hone in on what really ignites their passion.

Coleen opened up about the incredible strain her daughter faced during her GSCEs, revealing: ‘She’d been asked since she was 13 at school, “What do you want to do?”

‘She used to cry at home and say, “Mum, I don’t know what I want to do and they keep asking me”.’

To ease the pressure, Coleen advised her daughter to simply pick any career path when talking to teachers so that they would give her some space.

Whereas she offers different advice for her sons who seem sure of their ambitions.

Expanding on her children’s futures, she added: ‘I always knew Jake was going to be an actor, singer or director, he was just passionate about it. All I said to them was you have to do your exams, so do the best you can.’

Though her daughter excelled in her exams, the Loose Women favourite pointed out that her daughter’s job prospects never hinged on her grades.

Coleen also touched on the level of support she had at home as she shared her own early dreams of music.
