Shannon Sharpe has made his feelings on the Steve Smith saga clear following the weekend’s surprising events.
Smith, one of the best wide receivers in NFL history, was exposed for carrying on an affair with someone’s wife on Saturday, with the scorned husband sharing screenshots of conversations between the former wideout and his wife and even calling Smith to confront him.
The man, an X user by the name of Tony Martinez, revealed his wife Nicole is a member of the Ravens marching band and met Smith while he was with the team.
Sharpe and ‘Nightcap’ co-host Chad Johnson discussed the juicy topic on said show this Sunday, with the former NFL tight end delivering the cold, hard truth as he pointed out that the individual should have taken it up with his wife.
“I’ve known Smitty 20 years. He was just at my party at the Super Bowl, had a great conversation with him. I love the guy. Hard nosed, the way he plays, X, Y and Z. But bro, you need to take that up with your wife. Smitty owes you no loyalty,” he said.
“I don’t know the gentleman’s name but this a situation you have to take up with your wife.”

Johnson expressed similar sentiments before Unc shared his take on the whole thing.
The woman in question has since broken her silence on social media, noting her husband stood by her after two arrests for domestic violence and bought her a house, and then added that she repaid him by being unfaithful.
Her post wasn’t all that convincing, however, as many users felt like Tony had accessed her account to make her look even worse.

Jason Whitlock has shared his piece on the scandal blown open at FOX Sports following the news of a damning lawsuit.
The suit, filed by Noushin Faraji, a former hairstylist at the network, accuses former show host Skip Bayless of sexual harassment, with claims that he made an offer of $1.5 million in exchange for sex.
Charlie Dixon, a top-ranking executive, is also named. Joy Taylor features prominently, too, as she is said to have had relationships with Dixon and Emmanuel Acho. Taylor is accused of uttering derogatory remarks toward Faraji and making fun of her last name.
Shannon Sharpe is only briefly mentioned, with the documents noting that Bayless accused the complainant of sleeping with the former NFL star. But Whitlock has painted the ESPN analyst as someone who has a lot of dirt on his hands.
“Shannon Sharpe’s not anywhere in this lawsuit, but trust me, they got an HR file on Shannon Sharpe that would make your head spin,” Whitlock said during his ‘Fearless’ show on Monday.
“The things that Shannon Sharpe did at FS1 make Joy Taylor look like Mother Theresa,” he added.

Jason Whitlock Says Shannon Sharpe Was Involved In The Most Debauchery At FS1
Whitlock, who reckons Sharpe was fully aware of the lawsuit and somehow pulled the strings, also made claims of Sharpe moving around the FS1 studio in “the tightest boxers.”
“From what I experienced in my four or five years there, there is no one that was involved in more suspicious eye-raising flirtation with makeup wardrobe than Shannon Sharpe,” he claimed.
Sharpe addressed the suit during his ‘Nightcap’ show on Sunday night, pointing out that it has nothing to do with him. He hasn’t responded directly to Whitlock’s claims, and it will be interesting to see whether he does.
As for Taylor and Acho, they have both since made appearances on television as they normally would.
