Harrison Butker is standing by everything he had to say last year.

The Kansas City Chiefs kicker still stands by his controversial commencement speech that had women from every corner of the nation ready to protest against him.

Butker, who is gearing up for his third straight Super Bowl appearance with the Chiefs this weekend in New Orleans, drew fierce backlash after his divisive speech at Benedictine, a private Catholic institution in Atchison, Kansas.

Butker seemingly told women to be “homemakers” instead of focusing on a career.

Harrison Butker was adamant Monday night that he had “nothing to apologize for” when asked about the backlash against his offseason commencement speech.

Butker said the comments “opened up a lot of good conversations” among teammates.

“A lot of guys had different opinions about it,” Butker said, “but we all love each other in that locker room. We all know who we are. All the guys understood where I was coming from. They respect me. They respect what I have to say. And I have nothing to apologize for.”
