Paul Heyman isn’t one to mince his words, but he appeared to step out a bit too far when he blurred the lines between wrestling kayfabe and a serious ongoing matter involving Shannon Sharpe, calling the former NFL star out on ESPN, no less.

Sharpe is the subject of a troubling lawsuit, having been accused of rap3 in documents filed by a woman in Nevada on Sunday. The Pro Football Hall of Fame is being sued for $50 million, with the alleged victim claiming he forced himself on her on multiple occasions.

Heyman was a guest on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ on Monday, following his betrayal of Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41 this past weekend, and would shockingly bring the lawsuit up while speaking to McAfee.

“Cm Punk does as much good to my reputation as Shannon Sharpe does to ESPN,” he said during his interview.

“We don’t need that,” McAfee said, clearly uncomfortable, given that Sharpe also works for the network.

The statement got a resounding “Oooh” from the audience.

“Don’t oooh me,” Heyman added. “I’m not the one getting sued.”

Shannon Sharpe has since denied the allegations made by his accuser, and his lawyer has issued a statement on his behalf.

The complainant is also identified as Gabriella Zuniga in the statement, with the analyst’s legal team releasing multiple screenshots of conversations that supposedly went on between them.

In one of the messages, Zuniga is seen asking Sharpe for $50,000.

Following news of an impending $100 million deal, she’s now seeking 100 times more than that.

John Cena and Pat McAfee had a hilarious interaction following the former’s record-setting win at WrestleMania 41 on Sunday night.

Cena beat Cody Rhodes to become the most successful world champion and win his 17th belt, moving past Ric Flair.

The wrestler and actor spoke to Pat McAfee on Monday, sitting with the ESPN host on his show, where he called him out for being high all the time.

McAfee told Cena he looked like he had some spring in his step following the notion that he was washed.

“Yeah but dude you’re high as shit out there all the time,” Cena replied, suggesting he only seems fast to Pat because the former NFL star is never sober.

“this wasn’t a secret 😂we all knew and he said he be high af,” a fan pointed out.

“That explains why Pat is f**king insufferable,” said another.

“Bro the last time he talked in that accent, in that tone, in that demeanor was back in 2000s mannnnnn. Peak is back ohh my god,” wrote a third.

John Cena Got Some Help From An Unlikely Source

As mentioned before, John Cena faced Cody Rhodes on Sunday. The two squared off for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event on Night 2.

Cena, who had undergone a heel turn to secure an opportunity to win a 17th title, hit Rhodes with multiple Attitude Adjustments, while Rhodes also hit back with his Cross Rhodes. But things swung Cena’s way after Travis Scott’s surprise appearance, which distracted Rhodes and gave Cena the advantage.

As to whether he’s become a step slower is up for debate, but Cena has now set himself apart as the only WWE wrestler to win 17 championships and will only concern himself with that.
