Good Morning Britain came to a halt on Thursday as Ranvir Singh revealed a heartbreaking development in the search for three-year-old Noah Woods from Suffolk.
Confirming that a body had been found in a lake, the journalist began: “You’ll remember yesterday morning we were talking about this.
“The toddler, who had been diagnosed as non-verbal, partially deaf, and was being assessed for autism, vanished from a small playground in a small village in Suffolk on Tuesday afternoon.”
Handing over to Nick Dixon, the GMB correspondent said: “So many people from within this community had been hoping and trying to make sure that there was a very different outcome. But, sadly, Noah was not found safe and well.”
Police have found a body in the search for a missing three-year-old boy, whose disappearance sparked a huge community search effort.

Adding that a new development was announced on Wednesday afternoon after 5:30pm, Dixon said that the police and search teams had found the body of a child in a pond behind the playground where he was last seen.
In the hours since, people from the local community had laid flowers and toys in tribute to Noah.
Following the news, GMB viewers voiced their upset on X. “RIP little angel. Thoughts with his family and friends. Sending them comfort and strength,” wrote one. “This is so sad. heartbreaking for the family, RIP Noah,” added a second.
“So, so upsetting to hear about this. My heart goes out to the family and friends. RIP Noah,” tweeted a third.

“Rest in peace, little Noah.. Beautiful little boy… rest in peace,” commented a fourth.
Prior to the discovery of the body, Superintendent Tom Pearse of Suffolk Constabulary had thanked locals who had volunteered in the search for Noah. Speaking with journalists at Brantham Leisure Centre, he said: “I give my heartfelt thanks to all of you for coming out here today. From what I have seen, it is an unbelievably special community.
“You have demonstrated that by the way you have all come together. I want to pass on the thanks of Noah’s family. They are unbelievably grateful and blown away by your support.”
