Dоnɑld Tгuмρ has shared his true feelings on Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle – and he didn’t hold back. In a press conference that was broadcast live on air, across multiple news channels, the American leader admitted that he was glad that the couple were leaving California.
Journalists were allowed to put questions to the 80-year-old politician. One asked: “What’s your reaction to the recent news that Prince Harry and Meghan have left the United States and gone back to Britain?” He replied with a deadpan face, saying: “I’m happy about it,” as the people in the room chuckled around him. He went on: “I was not a fan. Look, I had a very good relationship with the Queen [Elizabeth], really good and I got to know her really well. I had a really good relationship with King Charles, I’ve known him as Prince Charles and King Charles, he’s a great guy.
Q: What’s your reaction to the recent news that Prince Harry and Meghan have left the United States and gone back to Britain.

Tгuмρ: I’m happy about it. I was not a fan. I didn’t like the way she acted. I thought she was terribly disrespectful to the queen. I would not have…
“But I thought that they [Harry and Meghan] treated the Royal Family with great disrespect. I didn’t like it. I didn’t like the way she acted, I thought that she was terribly disrespectful to the Queen and King Charles.
“I don’t know, maybe I’m different, but I would not have taken them back. If I were the Royal Family, I would not have taken them back.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down in Birmingham with their two children, Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet, last Wednesday (August 26), arriving by private jet from California.
Their bombshell return comes six years after they stepped down from their roles as senior working royals and left the UK for a new life in Montecito.
They will not return to official duties but will live in Britain as non-working royals. The Sussexes left the UK and stepped back from their royal duties in early 2020, before settling in California in March that year.
The Sussexes’ return came a year after Harry declared that he couldn’t “see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK”.
But now sources claimed that there is a simple reason behind Prince Harry’s bombshell decision to return to his homeland.
A source close to the couple told People magazine: “Harry never really stopped missing home. He’s missed that sense of connection and belonging. Britain is still home in many ways.”
