King Charles has made his first public appearance since Prince Harry returned to Britain, prompting fresh attention over the monarch’s health and raising speculation about the next chapter in the deeply strained father-son relationship.
The 77-year-old King was photographed behind the wheel of his Range Rover at Balmoral, where he has been spending part of his summer break in Scotland.

The busy schedule underlines the pressure facing the monarch as he continues his treatment while maintaining a demanding programme of constitutional and public duties.
