Meghan Markle made a big announcement just hours ago, leaving fans excited for what’s to come. On Wednesday, The Duchess of Sussex announced that her brand As Ever would begin selling blackberry spread.
Posting a photograph online of the jar it will be sold in, surrounded by blackberries, the duchess wrote: “Meet our newest pantry favorite. Introducing Blackberry. Made with beautifully ripe blackberries for a rich, vibrant flavor that brings a little taste of the season to your table. Available soon on Asever.com.”
The date the blackberry spread will launch was not confirmed.
However, with As Ever having not launched much in the last few months, Meghan’s fans couldn’t help but share their excitement.
Writing on X, one fan said: “Can’t wait to try it.”
Another said: “Oh I’m going to order 6 of this flavor tomorrow. I Love Blackberries.”
Someone else commented: “Love blackberry spread.”
Meghan’s announcement comes after she posted a teaser video picking fruit. She captioned the video: “A taste of late summer is almost here. Something sweet is arriving soon.”
The duchess was all smiles in the video as she picked fruit wearing a wide-brimmed sunhat, a blue button-up blouse and white shorts.
The new blackberry spread will be an addition to the other spreads already sold by As Ever. This includes strawberry, raspberry and orange marmalade spread.
The duchess’ brand also sells honey in two different flavours, as well as non-spread items such as flower sprinkles, teas, and wines.
