Good Morning Britain viewers expressed their fury over the latest Prince Harry announcement. The show’s top story on Tuesday (September 22) is that the Duke of Sussex is reportedly in talks to make a documentary about his mother, Princess Diana, to mark the 30th anniversary of her death. Princess Diana was killed in a car accident in Paris aged 36 in 1997.
Susanna Reid said: “Our main news this morning, Prince Harry reported to be in talks to make a documentary about his late mother, Princess Diana, next year, which would mark 30 years since she died. Sources say the Duke is still considering the most meaningful way to honour her legacy.”

Ed Balls added: “Harry’s uncle, Earl Spencer, meanwhile, is continuing to cause controversy with Piers Morgan announcing he’s taking legal action over claims made about Piers in that memoir which is published today.”
On X, the GMB account put out a poll asking viewers: “Is it right for Prince Harry to do a documentary on Diana?”
At the time of writing, 33 per cent had voted yes, while 67 per cent had voted no.
The announcement sparked an angry reaction from viewers, with many taking to the comments to argue that Harry, 42, is only doing it to make money.
One fumed: “Disgusting, Diana should be left in peace. No more books or documentaries. It’s all money based & to make money out of her life/death is terrible. Earl is making money with lies, don’t believe king said what Earl says. Harry has made money by writing & telling lies.”

Another commented: “Only doing it for money and to destroy royal family for the gullible people who believe him.”
A third echoed: “Harry has turned his Mother into a cash cow and his Uncle has jumped on the bandwagon. William and Harry have agreed not to speak about her publicly to let her RIP. Truly feel for William, how difficult to have to maintain quiet dignity in the face of it all.”
A fourth said: “We already know everything there is to know about Diana. Harry is simply cashing in on her legacy.”
However, others disagreed, believing Harry has every right to do what he wants to celebrate his mother’s legacy.
“It’s HIS mother not the public’s! He has every right to do what he wants!,” one said as a second agreed: “Poor Harry what ever he does everyone moans give him a break.”
