Scarlett Moffatt admits she said yes to I’m A Celeb All Stars to help fund her kitchen renovation – after winning on her original series a decade ago
Scarlett Moffatt has admitted that she said yes to I’m A Celebrity All Stars in South Africa to fund her kitchen renovation.
The former Queen of the Jungle, 35, returned to the ITV show alongside fellow former campmates Sir Harry Redknapp, Adam Thomas, Sir Mo Farah and Sinitta.
But the former Gogglebox star admitted she went on the pre-recorded show to pay for a new kitchen and said: ‘I’m getting it [the kitchen] done in June, at least I’m honest.’
Speaking at a Q&A at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho for the launch for the new series, which airs in April, she added: ‘Obviously we all do it because we love it but we also need to pay our mortgage somehow.
‘And if we could somehow do it by eating a few kangaroo testicles, why not.’
Scarlett won the programme back in 2016, beating Adam and Joel Dommett to the top spot but she admitted ‘so much has changed’ since last going on the show as she is now a mother and engaged.

Scarlett announced her engagement to her partner of 11 years Scott Dobinson in November 2023.
The proposal featured their baby son, Jude, now two years old, wearing a babygrow that read, ‘Mummy, will you marry my Daddy?’
They are planning to tie the knot this year, with reports indicating a venue in Northumberland.
She brought her ‘forever home’ in County Durham in 2021 after selling her previous abode in area for £395,000, a week after putting it on the market.
Scarlett said in the promotional video: ‘I am a professional couch potato on Gogglebox.’
The spin-off, hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, first hit our screens back in 2023 and saw a number of celebrities return to the jungle for a second time to take part in the iconic gruesome Bushtucker Trials.
It was filmed in Kruger National Park, located in South Africa, unlike I’m A Celebrity, which is located in Springbrook National Park, New South Wales, Australia.
The likes of Helen Flanagan, Joe Swash and Shaun Ryder took part three years ago.
