However, it seems the league won’t get Curry vs Clark, as the Indiana Fever star has said no.

The All-Star weekend is two weeks away, and the NBA was looking to expand its contest between Curry and Ionescu.

Curry’s former Golden State Warriors teammate Klay Thompson would be introduced alongside Clark.

According to Sports Business Journal, that isn’t going to happen.

The publication reported that Clark is “disinclined” to join the competition.

However, conversations between the NBA and Clark are still ongoing.

Her representatives at Excel Sports did indicate that Clark wants her first three-point contest to be during the WNBA All-Star weekend, so it seems unlikely that the talks between the two parties will be productive.

The Fever phenom had an incredibly busy season last year between March Madness and her rookie season, so it makes sense that she is taking it easy.

However, that hasn’t stopped fans from expressing their disappointment in the development.

“Can’t hate on her trying to elevate the WNBA,” one fan said.

“BOOOOO. BOO her. Boo that choice,” another fan said.

“Missed opportunity,” a third fan said.
