Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd’s wife, Hanni, has been flooded with messages, including from his soap co-stars, as she shared a blossoming baby bump update.
The actor, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, and Hanni recently announced on Valentine’s Day that they are expecting their first child together, seven months after tying the knot at Manchester Cathedral in July.
To announce the happy news, Hanni posted the video which showed them walking in the grounds of a country house before Jack cradled and kissed her bump. She captioned the clip: “We’ve been keeping a secret…June 2026. Thank you so much to the dream team who made this so special for us.”
The newlyweds’ impending arrival will mark the fourth time Jack has became a father. The soap star already has kids, Nyla Rae and Ruben, with ex-girlfriend Lauren Shippey, and son Greyson with his former partner, Sammy Milewski.
Weeks on from sharing their pregnancy announcement and Hanni has taking to social media with a string of snaps in which she could be seen sporting a figure-hugging black dress that gave fans a glimpse at her growing baby bump as she took a moment outside in the spring sunshine.
Alongside the post, the mum-to-be simply wrote: “bumping,” before adding a string of heart emojis. Jack was, of course, quick to respond, posting a string of flame emojis in the comments section. His Corrie co-stars were also seen responding to Hannie’s post.
Jack’s on-screen wife Julia Goulding, who plays Shona Platt, said: “So beautiful! [heart emoji].” Corrie’s Abi Webster star Sally Carman-Duttine also replied: “Gorgeous mama,” while Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan, responded with a number of love heart eyes emoji. Debbie Webster legend Sue Devaney, meanwhile, added: “Looking as beautiful as ever.”
It comes after Hanni recently reflected on how different things are looking now compared to this time last year. Sharing a stunning video capturing her and Jack’s sensational wedding day, the mum-to-be penned on Instagram: “This time last year we were planning Big Brother, the wedding, the honeymoon [face holding back tears emoji],” also referring to what ended up being Jack’s winning Celebrity Big Brother stint.
Hanni, who first met Jack in 2017 on the set of Corrie where she also worked, added: “Now we’re planning the arrival of our little baby [heart emoji]. Life is wild [crying laughing emojis].”
