Single mother Kim Kardashian faces many challenges when raising children
After her divorce from Kanye West, Kim Kardashian used to cry every night because she raised her children alone.
In the recent podcast On Purpose with Jay Shetty, Kim Kardashian confided about the difficulties of raising children as a single mother after her split from Kanye West. The reality TV star currently has 4 young children with Kanye West: North (9 years old), Saint (7 years old), Chicago (5 years old) and Psalm (4 years old). After the divorce, the two stars shared custody of the children, but Kim is still the primary caregiver of the children.
Kim Kardashian confided: “Raising children is what has taught me the most about myself. It’s the hardest thing. There are nights when I cry myself to sleep. There are days when I wonder what just happened? With 4 children with 4 different personalities, I always have to play both the gentle mother and the strict mother
Kim Kardashian Cried Every Night Because She Raised Her Child Alone
According to Kim Kardashian, being mentally prepared for motherhood is not enough. The SKIMS brand owner said: “Your life is completely turned upside down. But raising children teaches you more about yourself than I or any parent could ever have anticipated. There were times when I didn’t wash my hair for days, got spit on, and wore the same pajamas, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, the star said that raising children helped her discover many things about herself: “You feel so proud of yourself when you figure out how to manage everything and get through a long, busy day. Being a mother is the most challenging and rewarding job on the planet,” she said, affirming that she loves being a mother more than any other job.
After their divorce in November 2022, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West shared joint custody of their children and the male artist paid $200,000 a month in child support. Also in a September interview on Alo Yoga’s Mind Full podcast, the Stronger hitmaker said that Kim Kardashian spends 80% of her time raising her children.
