LaVar Ball’s Foot Amputated Due to Medical Issue, But He’s in Good Spirits
Nationwide — LaVar Ball, father of basketball stars Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo Ball, recently had his right foot amputated due to a serious medical condition. Despite the procedure, he remains in good spirits and is recovering well, according to TMZ.
Ball became known for his outspoken personality and efforts to promote his sons’ basketball careers. He founded Big Baller Brand, which produced signature shoes for his children.
Over the years, he made headlines for his outspoken comments, but his sons’ success has validated his confidence — Lonzo and LaMelo excel in the NBA, while LiAngelo pursues a music career.
Although LaVar has stepped away from the spotlight in recent years, he remains a dedicated supporter of his sons. Before becoming a well-known sports figure, LaVar played college basketball at Cal State-Los Angeles and was briefly associated with the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers.
