Perez Hilton has reportedly been taken to hospital after an alarming livestream prompted multiple emergency calls from worried viewers.
The celebrity blogger and former Celebrity Big Brother housemate is said to have been taken for medical treatment after broadcasting a distressing video on TikTok that left fans fearing for his welfare. According to reports, local police received multiple calls from members of the public after the 48-year-old appeared on a livestream covered in what looked to be bl00d while holding a knife.
Officers from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office attended the property and are understood to have spoken with family members outside. Authorities later said Perez had been inside the home on his own before deputies chose to “tactically disengage” while they assessed the situation.

A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office told the Daily Mail: “In many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritise de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication.
“Unless there is an immediate threat to others, slowing the situation and utilising crisis intervention techniques can reduce the likelihood of a suicide-by-cop encounter and minimise the risk of injury to the individual, deputies, and the public.”
Police later confirmed Perez had been “safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention.”
The sheriff’s office also said members of its Crisis Response Unit and licensed mental health professionals remained with Perez’s family to provide “support and resources.”

The livestream has since been removed. Perez’s TikTok account has also reportedly been suspended.
It remains unclear who, if anyone, was present in the property when the livestream was recorded before emergency services arrived.
In a statement to TMZ, Perez’s spokesperson said: “We are aware of the concerning content circulating online involving our client, Perez Hilton.
“At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him. Our primary concern is Perez’s health and well-being, as well as his family’s well-being. Until we have confirmed information, we will not speculate or comment further.
“We appreciate everyone’s concern and ask that his privacy be respected during this time.”

Footage broadcast by local news outlets showed several sheriff’s patrol vehicles outside Perez’s neighbourhood, with police tape blocking access to the street.
Earlier this year, Perez revealed he had relocated from Las Vegas to Miami after spending three and a half years in Nevada.
During a previous hospital admission, he told followers: “God told me to move to Miami.”
He added: “Manifesting abundance, manifesting just family, peace, good times. Manifesting health, good health – that’s what’s most important.”
Perez first rose to fame in the 2000s through his celebrity gossip blog before moving into television, including a stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
