SABRINA Carpenter left Grammys viewers in fits of giggles thanks to her show performance – which appeared to be plagued with errors.
The star, who took home two awards on Sunday night for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal album, took to the stage for renditions of her hits Espresso and Please Please Please.

Kicking off with a new, big bang, version of Espresso, Sabrina immediately gave viewers something to laugh at as she ‘struggled’ to get into the spotlight, before trying and failing to twirl a baton.
Walking down a white staircase in a glittery suit and tie, she then disappeared from the stage after going too far and going into the floor.
The slapstick skit was cemented as a joke with her back-up singers singing: “Someone’s getting fired” before she pulls off the suit to reveal one of her iconic, sparkling corsets.
Now dancing in a bejeweled blue outfit, Espresso picked up to its normal style, before more comedic moments ran through the routine – including a wall falling off a house prop, dancers falling over each other, and a tap dance as she moved into Please Please Please.

Even stand-up comedian Trevor Noah, who was hosting the evening, was impressed with her skills, telling the crowd: “You’re gonna do funny too, Sabrina? Really? You’re just gonna take my job like that?”
Sabrina’s incredible night ended with her being given her first Grammys for her album, Short N Sweet, and for Espresso, which dominated the summer last year.
She had been nominated for six awards, including Best New Artist (which she lost to Chappell Roan) and Album Of The Year (which she lost to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter).
Posing on the red carpet with her gongs, she later shared the pics on Instagram and wrote: “cannot believe life had to post this in the moment but will talk to you later.”

During the ceremony, she switched things up with a strapless jeweled floor-length dress.
She spent the evening rubbing shoulders with friends, including close pal Taylor Swift.
However, there was some upset during the evening, with fan favorites Billie Eilish and Taylor going home with nothing, despite both getting at least six nominations each.
This led to fans branding the event ‘the Shammys’.
