Caitlin Clark has shared a powerful message following her role in Nike’s Super Bowl ad. The Indiana Fever point guard used the moment to inspire young women athletes to tackle all the obstacles. Her participation alongside several other women athletes including A’ja Wilson, Sabrina Ionescu, and Sha’Carri Richardson in Nike’s first Super Bowl commercial since 1998 showed the growing popularity of the women’s leagues.
The ad, featuring top female athletes, aims to challenge stereotypes and uplift women in sports. Nike’s Super Bowl ad, So Win, delivers a powerful message urging athletes to overcome challenges. Clark’s role in the campaign was justified as she continues to be a role model for the new generations of women athletes.
Taking to her Instagram, Clark posted a photo of herself dressed in full Nike gear, sporting purple Nike sneakers and holding a basketball. In the caption, she wrote, “You’ll be told you can’t do it. So do it anyway.” Her message supports the broader effort to elevate women’s sports and increase visibility for female athletes.
The ad’s impact was immediate, quickly becoming Nike’s most-watched video on Instagram with over 114 million views shortly after its release.
The 23-year-old’s post soon grabbed wide attention and several fans rushed into the comment section. Among the commentators, her teammate, Aliyah Boston took some time to share her thoughts on the ad. “OH YOU ATE THIS UP,” Boston commented.
