The chat between Chicago Sky’s key player and online sensation Kayla Nicole went viral with Nicole, an internet celeb and model, opening up about her five-year whirlwind romance with the NFL megastar.

After ending things last year, she’s now revealed the personal battles she’s faced against nasty online trolls though these revelations haven’t won over some of Swift’s more die-hard devotees, who have lashed out at both her and Reese.

Amidst this social media storm, devoted “Swifties” have dug up a tweet from Clark’s opponent last September, where she sings praises of Swift’s link-up with Chiefs heartthrob Kelce. The WNBA Rookie of the Year and avid Chiefs supporter shared: “Taylor Swift welcome to the good side,” complete with the hashtag “Chiefs Kingdom.”

Nicole dished on her complex romance with Kelce during an appearance on ‘Unapologetically Angel’, admitting: “We’ve seen each other in public spaces before, but it’s – I think that we’re both aware of the nature of his new situation that there’s just no room really for us to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy.”

She also revealed the emotional toll of online trolling, saying, “I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos doesn’t impact me. It does, even to this day. You can go to my most recent post, and it will be people debating each other why I am worthless, and I’ll never be a talented person and I have no career.”

Reese didn’t hold back either, candidly discussing the abuse she’s faced from fans amid her relationship issues, revealing that she’s often been on the receiving end of hurtful comments from supporters of Clark. “I think it’s really just the fans, her fans, the Iowa fans, now the Indiana fans, that are really just, they ride for her, and I respect that, respectfully. But sometimes it’s very disrespectful. I think there’s a lot of racism when it comes to it.”

Acknowledging their professional respect despite personal challenges, she added about Clark: “I don’t believe in her heart that she has hatred towards me and I’m sure she believes that I don’t have hatred towards her.
