Caitlin Clark made a big impression in 2024, and more of the same is expected from the basketball prodigy in 2025.
Last year, the 22-year-old went from wrapping up a record-breaking college career to becoming the WNBA No.1 draft pick, catapulting the already-popular homegrown Iowan into the stratosphere of sports stardom.
Her craft on the court and the way she has shaped the future of women’s hoops off it has earned her a legion of accolades and awards, including being named by many prestigious outlets in North America as their 2024 ‘Athlete of the Year’.
But a new year means another season and plenty will have their eyes on Clark and what she might do next, given the nature of her impressive rise.
Find out where and when the Indiana Fever star is next in action, below.

Caitlin Clark: Top things you might not know about the basketball star
Will Caitlin Clark feature in the NBA All-Star Weekend?
Pacers legend Reggie Miller hinted that Clark might feature in a star-studded three-point shoot-out during the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend in San Francisco (14-16 February). NBA superstars Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson, and the WNBA’s own Sabrina Ionescu were rumoured to also join the three-point contest.
However, the rumour was recently dispelled after representatives for Clark confirmed that she wouldn’t be attending.
Is Caitlin Clark playing in the Unrivaled?
Caitlin Clark will not be participating in the Unrivaled, the new women’s 3-on-3 league tipping off in Miami on Friday 17 January 2025.
After a supercharged past 12 months, which included making the leap from college to the WNBA, it has been reported she is opting to rest and prepare ahead of the new season starting on Saturday 17 May.
However, several of Clark’s peers will be joining the new basketball startup co-founded by Olympic champions Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier. Angel Reese, Kahleah Copper, Kelsey Plum, and Jewell Loyd are among those set to play.

Caitlin Clark 2025 WNBA season: Big matchups lie in wait
Though fans may have to wait to see Clark on a basketball court again, it’ll be worth it given the matchups the 2025 WNBA regular season schedule has in store.
In a nod to one of the great emerging WNBA rivalries, Indiana will play the Chicago Sky a total of five times, meaning plenty of new chapters in the storied history between Clark and LSU’s Reese. Clark was nearly the unanimous 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year with the only first-place vote she didn’t receive going to Reese. With just 182 miles separating the two teams’ arenas, expect fireworks throughout the season.
College hoops fans will also have their eye on the Dallas Wings who are currently expected to select UConn’s Paige Bueckers with their number one pick for the 2025 WNBA Draft. Questions are already beginning to swirl as to whether or not Bueckers might become the ‘next Clark’ with the two projected to go head-to-head for the first time on Saturday 28 June, many might find their answer.
Other notable dates include the All-Star Game which will be played on Saturday 19 July on Clark’s homecourt at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Clark was one of two rookies that made last year’s All-Star team.
