Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets are in the market for a new head coach, but the veteran QB might not even be around to experience who that might be.
The Tennessee Titans are expected to look at making a significant move at the quarterback position this offseason as it remains clear that Will Levis is not their guy going forward.
If they want to win, they can’t afford to enter next season with Will Levis and Mason Rudolph as their only options.
CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin has tabbed Aaron Rodgers to be on the move and to continue his career with Tennessee.
He believes that the Super Bowl XLV champion will take a one-year deal with the Titans.
He said: “The former MVP’s numbers are deceiving.
“While he avoided a rash of turnovers in his first healthy year with the Jets, the former Green Bay Packers star was mostly a non-factor for a dismal New York offense, which is ripe for a total overhaul.
“At 41, he’s simply looked much more his age away from Lambeau.
Benjamin then projected his deal to be “a one-year, $25 million deal.”
Aaron Rodgers has been a name that Tenessee has been connected to quite often, but nothing has ever happened.
It should be noted that the Titans have the No.1 pick in the next draft and could go with a new quarterback.
That doesn’t mean they wouldn’t bring Rodgers in. He could serve as a teacher and a bridge quarterback before they hand over the team to the younger quarterback, should they go that route.
Aaron Rodgers Didn’t Have The Worst Season In Terms of Stats
The 2024 NFL season wasn’t quite what Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets had in mind.
On the season, Rodgers threw for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
This was only the fourth time in his career that he eclipsed double-digit interceptions.
Despite his good numbers, Rodgers could either be on another team or retired.

The Phoenix Suns are desperately trying to improve their record and stay put for a playoff run this season. Coming into their latest game against the Atlanta Hawks, the Suns made some aggressive changes. And it included their starting center, Jusuf Nurki,c from their team. Surprisingly, the move paid off, the Suns won 123-115, inching closer to .500. With the win, the Suns’ record also improved to 17 wins and 19 losses this season.
However, such a decision did not sit well with Nurkic. After initial reports claimed that Nurkic was on the bench despite being perfectly healthy, the Suns’ head coach made another surprising comment. It was assumed that Nurkic was benched due to the matchup. But HC Mike Budenholzer stated that he simply wanted to bench the 30-year-old.
“Yeah, just went with Mason and Oso tonight. Again, just always trying to figure out what’s best for the team and find the right combinations, the right group… We just went with Mason and Oso,” said Budenholzer.
Quite expected, Nurkic seemed frustrated about the entire incident. Speaking on the matter, Nurkic stated, “No comment, man. Just be a pro and get ready. That’s all.” Now, such a situation has sparked trade rumors for Nurkic. While nothing is confirmed yet, it remains to be seen whether the 30-year-old requests for a change of jersey logos. However, this is not the first time the Suns have benched Nurkic.
Phoenix Suns Made A Tough Call Regarding Jusuf Nurkic Previously Too
Jusuf Nurkic has not been in good form recently. Having played 23 matches this season, his per-game average sits at a mere 8.8 points. The 30-year-old has also averaged 1.9 assists and 9.5 rebounds per game, making matters worse. Thus, with his form not looking promising, the Suns’ management decided to drop him against their match with the Philadelphia 76ers.
