Terrell Suggs’ legal case from his April 2024 arrest regarding an incident at a Starbucks shop has seemingly reached its conclusion.
Following an incident at a Starbucks shop in Scottsdale, Arizona last March, Terrell Suggs was arrested and charged with threatening and intimidation and disorderly conduct with a weapon.
The two-time Super Bowl champion and 2011 Defensive Player of the Year allegedly threatened to kill another person in the Starbucks drive-thru and flashed a gun during the altercation.
According to TMZ Sports, Terrell Suggs pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. As part of his agreement with prosecutors, the charge of threatening/intimidation has been dropped. The sentencing is scheduled for Apr. 1.
Per TMZ Sports, time in prison is possible, though the plea deal means he’ll likely be sentenced to probation.
The Starbucks incident wasn’t Suggs’ first serious legal matter. He was arrested in 2003 for allegedly hitting a man with a reinforcement rod during an altercation in Phoenix after a basketball game. Two years later, the longtime Baltimore Ravens star was acquitted.
Suggs’ wife, Candace Williams, accused Suggs of several disturbing domestic violence incidents before they were married. She filed a temporary protective order against Suggs in 2012, and he was forced to surrender his firearms.

Suggs entered the NFL as a first-round pick (10th overall) by the Ravens in 2003. He spent his first 16 years there, leading the club to three AFC Championship Game appearances (2008, 2011 and 2012) and a Super Bowl 47 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
He left the Ravens in 2019 to sign a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals, only to be cut in December. Suggs was picked up by the Kansas City Chiefs, who went on to defeat the 49ers in Super Bowl 54 in what would be his final NFL game.
