BREAKING: Jade Cargill’s SHOCKING Return, Jim Cornette Drama & Grand Slam Australia

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that — rumors. None of this has been confirmed as fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

After last week’s angle update on SmackDown, PW Insider says Jade Cargill was back at the WWE Performance Center this week and “the belief is her creative plans for her return will be set very soon.”
In response to apparent questions about the possibility of Jim Cornette being announced for the WWE Hall of Fame, Fightful Select reported that Cornette’s name hasn’t come up in creative discussions in “recent years”. That’s not because the company is against using Cornette, but is more because they believe he’s happy and successful with his podcasts and other projects.
Tony Khan told Wrestle Radio Australia that AEW took Grand Slam Australia to Brisbane rather than another Australian city because, “Brisbane wanted us. Brisbane came to us and said, ‘We really want you. We want you to do a show here. We think AEW would be a tremendous attraction in Brisbane.”
Michin confirmed that marijuana is no longer banned for WWE talent during an appearance on The Speakeezy Podcast: “So before, marijuana used to be on the drug list, and they took that off a few years ago.”
According to PW Insider, Peter Rosenberg will be doing commentary for WWE’s Evolve show.
