Brittany Mahomes’ pregnancy produces anxiety even in a relaxing time for Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs
The Mahomes‘ third child will join older siblings Sterling and Bronze
Brittany Mahomes had a good 2024, and her 2025 is shaping up to be even better. Amidst a presidential election in which her preferred candidate won, Brittany‘s husband Patrick Mahomes was leading the Kansas City Chiefs to a 15-2 season and the #1 seed in the AFC while Brittany herself was preparing to welcome baby #3 into the Mahomes clan.
Brittany is due any day now, and Patrick made it clear following a Christmas Day win over the Pittsburgh Steelers that claiming the top seed — and the first-round bye that comes with it — was a priority, so that the couple could be together when Brittany gives birth. But is the entrepreneur and former soccer player becoming a bit impatient amid the wait?
Brittany and Patrick are more than ready
In a five-photo collage posted Wednesday on Instagram, Brittany revealed her excitement at giving birth for the third time and giving a new sibling to her daughter Sterling and son Bronze. Posing in a white button-down shirt, a lacy white bra, and unbuttoned white jeans, Brittany captioned the photo set by saying “Hello 2025, we’re ready for you little one” — her first message to her unborn child.

The Chiefs‘ regular season success — they tied the Detroit Lions for the NFL‘s best record — warranted a bye to the divisional round, with Brittany set to give birth during the wild-card round this coming weekend. The timing really couldn’t be better, and that fits with the narrative that the Chiefs have had more good fortune this season than anyone else in football — Kansas City finished a perfect 11-0 in games decided by eight points or fewer.
By the time Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs return to the field in two weeks’ time, he will have become a father for the third time as he pursues his third successive Super Bowl win, an accomplishment that the NFL has never seen before. It is one more wrinkle to what is looking like a fascinating January ahead as the playoffs loom ever closer.

Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has emerged as one of the most prominent figures in women’s basketball. Her outstanding achievements and dominant performances on the court have boosted her confidence in her skills. However, this confidence has recently caused her some trouble, as NBA fans criticized her for a recent statement she made.
In a recent episode of the “Roommates” show, Wilson stunned both the NBA and WNBA by claiming that she could defeat New York Knicks star Josh Hart in a one-on-one matchup. Additionally, she predicted that the final score would be 11-8.
“Score would be 11-8, me. I’m not saying you gonna go scoreless, 8 to 11 is pretty solid. So, what do you think it’ll be, Josh?” Wilson said.
Although Josh and Wilson both had a good laugh during their conversation, Wilson’s comment stirred up the basketball community. “She’d lose 11-0 w him only playing w his offhand,” one fan said.
