Cameron Brink Drops Bold Take on Paige Bueckers’ Chance to Outdo Caitlin Clark

This is what the WNBA player said about the rising star who could dethrone Caitlin Clark

Cameron Brink talks about Paige Bueckers and her chance to achieve what Caitlin Clark never could

Beyond whether the WNBA is ready for Paige Bueckers, Paige Bueckers is ready to enter the league and make an immediate impact, just a year after witnessing Caitlin Clark’s breakout. Someone who experienced that phenomenon up close, like Cameron Brink, has spoken about the rising superstar and how her current performance in March Madness should be evaluated.

The Connecticut superstar just recorded her career-best numbers with 40 points during the Sweet 16, in a resounding 82-59 victory. And she’s getting closer and closer to the title game that Caitlin Clark couldn’t reach.

Cameron Brink on Paige Bueckers and her legacy

“Oh, I don’t think so … I think she’s definitely proven who she is. As a player, her accolades are unmatched … I just want her to end up in a good place after the season, and I’m always rooting for her. She’s a close friend of mine. Her, Azzi [Fudd] … I’ve played with them before in USA Basketball. So, I’m just rooting for them … I don’t think winning a championship should affect your legacy. I think it only adds to it, but I don’t think not winning one takes away from what you’ve done,” said Cameron Brink in an interview with For The Win.

Bueckers has already declared herself ready to enter the WNBA Draft, but first, she’ll go through the Elite Eight in pursuit of advancing further in March Madness.

The second-seeded Huskies (34-3), winners of 13 straight games, will face the winner of Saturday night’s game between Southern California and Kansas State in a regional final on Monday.

Bueckers led UConn to last year’s Final Four, where it lost to Caitlin Clark and Iowa. Now she’s aiming to win the title to head to the WNBA with honors.

VIDEO: Some Dude Just Dropped The Cold Hard Truth On Why All Of These NFL Prospects Are “Dating White Women”

Caleb Williams at NFL Draft

Unless this is your first day in America, then you know race relations in this country dominate just everything, and that includes NBA and NFL drafts

During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.

The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.

This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.

One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.

He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.

He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.
