Carmelo Anthony broke the internet 11 years ago when one of his pictures from the 2014 Met Gala went viral. One of the pictures featured Rihanna posing for the photographers. However, what immediately caught fans’ attention was that Anthony could be seen staring angrily at her in the background. Wild speculations began to surface citing the reason for Anthony’s anger. Unfortunately, the former NBA star kept a tight lip about the same.
That was until recently when the fans finally got their answers. After over a decade, Anthony decided to spill the beans on what exactly happened. Appearing in a recent episode of the ‘7PM in Brooklyn’ podcast, Anthony mentioned that his stare was not meant for Rihanna.
“I’mma tell you the real story. It was after the Met. I’m sitting where y’all are sitting at, trying to be low. Rih walks in, cameras go crazy. There’s only one area to go to. And I’m like ‘Please, don’t come over here’. The flashes go off, and I put my head down. I look up, and she’s right there posing. The cameras is going and I’m like [makes expression],” said Anthony.
Well, now that the debate is finally over, it turns out that Anthony is not very keen on facing a lot of cameras. Meanwhile, the ex-Lakers star recently had a friendly warning for Jimmy Butler following his fallout with the Miami Heat.

The Jimmy Butler and Miami Heat fiasco has kept the hoops world on edge. With Butler publicly asking for a trade, Pat Riley slapped him with a seven-match suspension. However, as Anthony says, things might go further downhill if Butler continues to be adamant.
“This is serious business now. This could really f**k you up going into your next situation. Pat gonna send him to somewhere— ‘yeah okay you wanna f**k with me? Imma send you to the Wizards’, and that’s gonna be a f**k you to Jimmy,” said Anthony on the ‘7PM in Brooklyn’ podcast.
Well, it is evident that concerns are rising for Jimmy Butler’s future. It will now be interesting to see how things pan out for the Heat’s star in the future.

Adrian Peterson is in some legal hot water, with authorities in Fort Bend County, Texas, issuing warrants in his name.
According to USA Today, the warrants are out as a result of the former NFL MVP failing to appear in court for two separate child support cases.
“The current legal case is related to a misunderstanding regarding Adrian’s court appearances as it relates to child support, and he is actively working with his legal team to resolve this matter as quickly as possible,” Peterson’s publicist Denise White told the publication.
“He is committed to clearing up this situation and moving forward positively.”
