Beck’s time at Georgia has been marked by a rollercoaster of achievements and challenges. Taking over as the starting quarterback in 2023, Beck led the Bulldogs to an impressive 12-0 regular-season record. However, his performance in 2024 was more inconsistent, with turnovers becoming a notable issue.
Last season, he threw for 3,485 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. An injury in the SEC Championship Game, which required UCL surgery, added another layer of complexity to his draft prospects and his future was already in jeopardy with the Dawgs.

The Baltimore Ravens have announced that Zay Flowers will not be with them when they play the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs this Saturday.
The wide receiver is set to miss his first NFL game because of an injury after hurting his knee in Baltimore’s division-clinching victory over the Cleveland Browns last week.
“Zay Flowers is not going to be able to make it to the game this week,” Ravens head coach Harbaugh said on Thursday, per NFL.com. “So he’ll get started again next week and we’ll move forward with the guys we have and we’re excited about the guys we have, which is everybody else.
The second-year star made 74 receptions for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns during the season.
Rashod Bateman will step in as the main wide receiver option for Baltimore this weekend. Bateman had a career year in which he made 45 catches for 756 yards and nine scores. Only tight end Mark Andrews had more TDs this term.
