The friendship between LeBron James and Drake appears to be fractured.
In a now-deleted screenshot shared by Chris Blake Griffith on Instagram, the Canadian rapper was reportedly discussing his legal battle with UMG.
In November 2024, Drake decided to sue Universal Music Group over Kendrick Lamar’s hit diss track, “Not Like Us.”
Drake namedropped the Los Angeles Lakers superstar by trying to highlight the complexities of his lawsuit against Universal Music Group in his feud with Kendrick Lamar.
Screenshots show the singer mentioning LeBron James as an unfaithful husband.
Chris Blake Griffith’s DM made it seem as though Drake was likening his situation with UMG to James’ marriage. The message made it seem as if the rapper was comparing the false rumors about him to the ones being spread about James’ infidelity.
LeBron James Reportedly Contacted Drake To Resolve Their Strained Relationship
The ongoing tension between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has fractured his relationship with LeBron.
Drake seemingly called out James in a leaked freestyle titled ‘Fighting Irish.’
The title references the mascot of LeBron’s high school.
According to insights from the New Rory & MAL podcast, LeBron played Lamar’s ‘Man at the Garden’ at his 40th birthday party, a decision that may have caused Drake to unfollow him on Instagram.
MAL suggested that LeBron James may have attempted to reconcile with Drake by calling him. He was ignored.
“I believe LeBron has probably reached out directly or through other avenues to have a conversation,” MAL shared.
“This isn’t beef,” MAL explained, “but Drake’s saying, ‘We’re not as cool as we were. You picked a side—stay there.”

Movie enthusiasts have long wondered what Kevin McCallister’s parents from the ‘Home Alone’ films did for a living.
The title and its sequel, ‘Home Alone 2: Lost In New York,’ are two of the most iconic Christmas films ever made and remain popular to this day.
Macaulay Culkin returns to screens as the aforementioned McCallister boy every holiday season, which is why people keep asking what his parents, Peter and Kate, did for work. After all, they lived in a huge house in the Chicago suburbs and could have afforded to travel to France for Christmas.
The house was worth around $1 million in the late 1980s and the first movie launched in 1990. It would probably be worth significantly more in 2024.
Kevin’s parents, Peter and Kate, were played by the late John Heard and Catherine O’Hara, who were both successful in their careers. According to director Chris Columbus, who revealed as much to The Hollywood Reporter, Peter may have worked in advertising, while Kate was a fashion designer.
