Rick Pitino and female fan (Photo via Twitter)
St. John’s coach Rick Pitino looked like a proud father as he was spotted in the Cleveland crowd. He had flown out to watch his son Richard coach New Mexico in their March Madness bout against Michigan State.
Pitino and St. John’s were bounced from the 2025 NCAA tournament on Saturday after getting upset by John Calipari and No. 10 Arkansas.
There were numerous camera shots of Pitino in the crowd, who was rocking a black jacket and a scarf around his neck.
Unfortunately or fortunately, one of the many camera shots would catch some real action that was going on behind him.
There was an incredibly busty female New Mexico fan right behind who garnered much attention.
Her face was caught in slow motion behind Rick Pitino as he cheered, and many people couldn’t keep their eyes off her.
“Just a video of Rick Pitino supporting his son, nothing else relevant in the background,” one account stated while providing footage.
“Didn’t even notice the coach,” another fan alluded while only paying attention to the woman.
“Check those bballs behind him, eh?” another fan added.
“I keep reading Rick Pitino. Where? all I see is the lady in red with the rack. 😛😄,” a fourth fan stated.
“That rack behind him is going to an Italian restaurant postgame,” one final fan commented.
St. John’s Coach Rick Pitino’s Support Wasn’t Enough To Help His Son
St. John’s head coach Rick Pitino joins New Mexico fans during the first half of the Second Round of NCAA tournament against Michigan State at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Rick Pitino and St. John’s were bounced from the 2025 NCAA tournament on Saturday, so he decided to fly out and watch his son Richard coach New Mexico in their March Madness bout against Michigan State.
During the NCAA Tournament, Rick was spotted in the stands, hoping his son could pull off an upset.
Unfortunately, his support wasn’t enough.
New Mexico’s historic season ended Sunday night when the Lobos fell to Michigan State 63-71 in the NCAA tournament’s round of 32.
UNM finished the season with a 27-8 overall record.
