Jade Cargill has been missing from WWE television ever since a brutal ambush on the November 22 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Recently, Bianca Belair and Naomi were convinced Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were behind the attack and now Liv Morgan has set the record straight on the accusations.
While speaking on The No-Contest Wrestling podcast, Liv Morgan was asked if she actually took out Jade Cargill. Liv Morgan denied having any involvement in Jade Cargill getting attacked, explaining that the situation was a huge misunderstanding and that she didn’t deserve what Bianca Belair and Naomi did to her on RAW this week.
Morgan pointed out that she has always been vocal about her actions in the past. She reminded everyone how often she bragged about stealing Rhea Ripley’s man or retiring Becky Lynch. Due to this, she felt the beatdown she received was completely unnecessary. However, she did admit that she was present when the attack happened.
“In the history of Liv Morgan, there’s not been one time when I didn’t scream and brag about whatever I had just done. How many times did I scream I stole Rhea’s man? How many times did I scream I retired Becky Lynch? I think that this is a huge misunderstanding. I think that beatdown was highly, highly unwarranted. But, I was there.”
During the February 17 episode of Raw, Liv Morgan tried to interfere in Roxanne Perez vs. Raquel Rodriguez in a Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying match, but Bianca Belair and Naomi came out and landed forearms on Morgan. After the match, Bianca Belair and Naomi went for a double KOD on Liv Morgan, but Raquel made the save.
This stems from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez walking away from the scene after Jade Cargill was attacked. Nonetheless, we will have to wait and see who will turn out to be Cargill’s attacker, as it’s clear Liv Morgan has denied her involvement in the same.
