Luka Doncic is now officially a Lakers athlete. Having played for the Dallas Mavericks previously, the swap between Doncic and Anthony Davis has been quite a shocking one. However, making his debut for the Lakers, Doncic might have felt some jitters in the new setting. Thankfully, he had LeBron James backing him up. With immense experience under his belt, James made sure that the Lakers got a fully focused Luka Doncic.

The NBA legend immediately got to action and started to counsel the new entrant. James made sure that Doncic felt comfortable under the gold and purple jersey. Infact, in order to make himself feel at ease, James even proposed the idea of introducing him last. And Doncic seems pretty much grateful to the 40-year-old icon.

“Yeah, he texted me in the morning, he said, whatever you want. And I said, for him to text me that is just amazing. So it shows what kind of person he is. And, you know, he let me have my moment, so I really appreciate it,” said Doncic.

Surely, things do become pretty much easier when you get a legendary mentor like LeBron James. However, LeBron James is not the only one trying to up the morale of Luka Doncic. Dirk Nowitzki too, had some interesting words to share.

Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki seems to be quite fond of Luka Doncic. While at Dallas, Doncic was touted as the probable heir to Nowitzki. However, despite Doncic venturing out to the Los Angeles Lakers, Nowitzki is still supporting the 25-year-old.

“I will always be a Mav for life, but had to come support my guy 77 @luka7doncic in the first game of his new chapter!” wrote Nowitzki on X.

Thus, with Luka Doncic getting all the support from the legends, it now remains to be seen how things pan out in the future.

During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.

The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.

This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.

One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.

He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.

He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.
