Haliey Welch, also known as the “Hawk Tuah Girl,” has been facing backlash for promoting a memecoin that crashed.
At the end of a whirlwind 2024 that saw her transform from a viral star to a business mogul, Welch announced in early December that $HAWK had gone live.
A little over two weeks later, everything would go terribly wrong as many began to lose thousands of dollars.
Lawsuits were reportedly filed against the memecoin’s sellers, alleging that they unlawfully sold securities that hadn’t been registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Haliey Welch and her team have been accused of orchestrating a ‘pump and dump’ scheme. The investors are suing the Tuah the Moon Foundation, which collected funds from the $HAWK token.
Now, she is trending online after an X account posted a picture of Welch wearing an alleged $2,000 swimsuit.
Before the year ended, Welch posted a statement on X saying she was “committed to assisting the legal team representing individuals impacted.”
However, she has essentially disappeared from the public eye.
Haliey Welch Has Stopped Filming Podcast Episodes And Posting Online
Viral star Haliey Welch hasn’t released a new episode of her podcast since the collapse of her ‘Hawk Tuah’ cryptocurrency.
Welch capitalized on her internet fame by selling merchandise like t-shirts and then eventually launching a weekly podcast called Talk Tuah, which rocketed to the top of the Spotify podcast charts.
Welch hasn’t posted an episode since early December. She hasn’t posted anything to Instagram since December 20th.
She is unlikely to do so until this cryptocurrency fiasco is handled.
REVEALED: Director Of ‘Home Alone’ Finally Reveals The Truth About What Kevin McCallister’s Parents Did For A Living And How They Could Afford Their Mansion

Movie enthusiasts have long wondered what Kevin McCallister’s parents from the ‘Home Alone’ films did for a living.
The title and its sequel, ‘Home Alone 2: Lost In New York,’ are two of the most iconic Christmas films ever made and remain popular to this day.
Macaulay Culkin returns to screens as the aforementioned McCallister boy every holiday season, which is why people keep asking what his parents, Peter and Kate, did for work. After all, they lived in a huge house in the Chicago suburbs and could have afforded to travel to France for Christmas.
The house was worth around $1 million in the late 1980s and the first movie launched in 1990. It would probably be worth significantly more in 2024.
Kevin’s parents, Peter and Kate, were played by the late John Heard and Catherine O’Hara, who were both successful in their careers. According to director Chris Columbus, who revealed as much to The Hollywood Reporter, Peter may have worked in advertising, while Kate was a fashion designer.
