The ever-popular Hooters restaurant has millions of potential mourners. Due to a significant decrease in customer traffic to its stores, the company has been facing financial struggles.
According to Bloomberg News, Hooters of America, a chain of restaurants and cafes, is reportedly heading towards bankruptcy.
The chain is working with creditors to develop a plan to restructure its business. It has also engaged the law firm Ropes & Gray to assist with the process.
Although no final decision for seeking Chapter 11 protection has been made, a filing could occur anytime within the next two months.
The restaurant is mostly famous for its staff members wearing tight-fitting sporty uniforms while the ladies have their boobs pop out of the uniforms. It was very popular with male customers who tended to tip well based on their server’s attractiveness.
Here is how fans reacted:
“Not the boob restaurant 😭😭😭,” one fan said.
“Never been to one, but I love boobies,” stated another fan.
“Probably cause customers are getting tired of being ripped off from the representation that they’re going to see good looking girls with big titties while being served chicken wings lol every Hooters I’ve ever been to the women are literally barely a 2 lol,” a third fan commented.
“You’d think buoyancy would help you stay afloat…” one hilarious fan added about Hooters.
One final fan said: “Something tells me Hooters is about to have their most profitable weekend of the year.”
