The Mahomes family is embracing the magic of winter while preparing for an exciting new chapter as Brittany Mahomes recently shared delightful snippets from her family’s snow-filled day, as she and her husband, NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes, await the arrival of their third child.
On Sunday, Jan. 5, Brittany treated her Instagram followers to glimpses of how her family celebrates a snowy day in Kansas City. The highlight? Homemade snow cones!
She shared a photo of three colorful bowls filled with freshly packed snow, captioning it, “Real snow cones!!!” The bowls, topped with vibrant blue syrup, were a hit among the family, including their two young children-Sterling, 3, and Bronze, 2.
Brittany also posted an adorable picture of Sterling bundled up in a red snowsuit and black mittens. The little one stood outside with snow nearly reaching her knees, beaming with joy.
“This snow is for the win over here,” Brittany wrote in a playful Boomerang video of herself and one of her toddlers enjoying their frosty creations indoors.

Preparing for Baby No. 3
As the couple anticipates the birth of their third child, Patrick Mahomes has openly shared how the timing could work out perfectly with his football schedule.
With the Kansas City Chiefs securing the top seed in the AFC playoffs, Patrick has a bye week-an ideal window for the baby’s arrival.
In a Christmas Day interview, Patrick joked about the unique timing, saying, “Brittany says I’ve been stressing her out too much this season. So I gotta try to not put so much stress on her through these football games.”
He added, “If baby no. 3 is born on a bye week, then everything will work out perfectly.”

Sterling
While juggling the demands of parenthood and Patrick‘s high-pressure football career, the Mahomes family remains grounded. Brittany recently shared a workout session on Instagram, showing how Sterling joined her as a gym buddy.
“[Sterling] loves to watch her dad play football,” Brittany said in a PEOPLE interview. “She can see him from a mile away and pays attention.”
