The mugshot has been released of Michael Lewis , a 55-year-old Texas man who was arrested for stalking Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.
Per ESPN, Lewis was arrested on stalking charges in Indianapolis, Indiana yesterday. A native of Denton, Texas, Lewis was arrested at a hotel and has been charged with a Level 5 felony after sending Caitlin Clark a series of disturbing messages.
According to reports, Lewis sent Clark a series of threats and sexually violent messages through social media. In one message, the creep told Clark that he was driving past per home three times a day.
The mugshot of Lewis has been released:
According to court documents, Caitlin Clark saw the messages and even tried changing her appearances in public for her safety. Authorities previously warned Lewis to stop sending the threatening messages, but he claimed they were purely “imagination” and “a joke.”
Lewis ignored the warning from authorities and continued sending Clark the disturbing messages. He faces up to six years in prison and a potential fine of $10,000.
We’ll be sure to provide more details on the legal matters when they become available.
Caitlin Clark Had A Historic 2024 Rookie Year
The highest-scoring player in NCAA Division 1 basketball history was drafted first overall by Indiana in 2024, and it certainly didn’t take Clark long to make an impact for the struggling franchise.
The 22-year-old averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game in her rookie campaign en route to 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, WNBA All-Rookie Team and All-WNBA First Team honors. Clark was also named to the All-Star Game.
Caitlin Clark also led Indiana to a 20-20 finish for their first playoff appearance since the 2016 campaign. The Fever were eliminated by the Connecticut Sky in the opening round of the playoffs, but it was nonetheless a major step forward for the long-struggling franchise for a team that has the new face of the WNBA to build around.
New Orleans Pelicans Stun The NBA By Trading Superstar Brandon Ingram To NBA Heavyweight In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

With the New Orleans Pelicans enduring another tremendously disappointing season, star big man Brandon Ingram is another name to follow in the trade rumor mill.
The Pelicans enter Thursday as the worst team in the Western Conference (5-22), with only the Washington Wizards (3-21) displaying an inferior record. It’s clear that a rebuild is necessary in NOLA, and that would start with trading core players like Brandon Ingram and/or Zion Williamson.
Svyatoslav Rovenchuk of Athlon Sports recently proposed a blockbuster trade idea that has New Orleans trading Ingram and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to the powerhouse Golden State Warriors in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II, Kevon Looney and De’Anthony Melton:
“The swap allows the Warriors to add another All-Star caliber player around Curry. Meanwhile, the Pelicans land a worthwhile young prospect and a handful of expiring contracts. One could argue that Golden State would need to add some sort of draft pick compensation too, but given Ingram’s modest value, Kuminga may offer more than enough appeal to not have to do so.”
