Come Sunday, the Portland Trail Blazers will have a monumental task on their hands. Languishing at the bottom half of the table, the Trail Blazers will be eager to salvage some momentum in the league. On the other hand, the Celtics would want to bridge the gap further with the top-ranked Cleveland Cavaliers. However, with the home crowd rooting for the Trail Blazers, Jayson Tatum and co. might find it a bit hard to get going right away.

On paper, it is a game between the number 12 and number 2. But the stats often can help us understand the actual extent of the competition. Despite languishing in the bottom half, the Trail Blazers have been on a roll lately. They are currently on a four-game winning streak. In their last game, Portland had an impressive display that saw them get the better of Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets.
Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics are one of the hot favorites to win the NBA this season. With the likes of Jayson Tatum and Co. making merry, the Celtics are almost sure to get an automatic playoff qualification. In what has been a dream run, the Celtics have won 9 games out of their last 10! And currently, Tatum and co. too, are on a four-game winning run. Thus, with both the teams looking quite strong as per their recent performances, the fans surely have a game cracker on their hands.
