A Texas man has been placed under arrest after allegedly sending numerous threats and sexually explicit messages to Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark on social media.
Michael Lewis of Denton, which is a suburb of Dallas, has been charged with stalking, a low-level felony, after an investigation revealed he sent over a dozen messages on X to Clark.
Court documents reveal Lewis was sending threats and sexually explicit messages to Clark on X, so the FBI sent an emergency disclosure request to X, requesting Lewis’ account information.
The 55-year-old faces one count of stalking for allegedly engaging in a “course of conduct involving repeated or continuing harassment of Caitlin Clark that would cause a reasonable person to feel terrorized,” Marion County prosecutors said.
Between Dec. 16 and Jan. 2, Lewis allegedly sent a series of vulgar, sexually charged messages to Caitlin Clark.
Police interviewed the WNBA’s rookie of the year on Saturday, and the Indiana Fever superstar revealed that she “has been very fearful since learning of the messages and that she has altered her public appearances and patterns of movement due to fear for her safety.”
“Clark stated that she has become very concerned for her safety after learning that Lewis was in Indianapolis,” the complaint said per NBC News. “Clark also stated that she doesn’t know Lewis and has never responded to any of his messages or posts.”
Many of the messages were sexually explicit and sometimes violent towards Caitlin Clark.
“Got banned from caitbridge (sic). Im sorry. Bu maybe I go to ur road games..its ok right?” One of the posts read.
Caitlin Clark admitted to changing her public movements and appearances because of him.
Lewis was arrested over the weekend and is facing up to six years in prison.

New Orleans Pelicans Stun The NBA By Trading Superstar Brandon Ingram To NBA Heavyweight In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

With the New Orleans Pelicans enduring another tremendously disappointing season, star big man Brandon Ingram is another name to follow in the trade rumor mill.
The Pelicans enter Thursday as the worst team in the Western Conference (5-22), with only the Washington Wizards (3-21) displaying an inferior record. It’s clear that a rebuild is necessary in NOLA, and that would start with trading core players like Brandon Ingram and/or Zion Williamson.
Svyatoslav Rovenchuk of Athlon Sports recently proposed a blockbuster trade idea that has New Orleans trading Ingram and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to the powerhouse Golden State Warriors in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II, Kevon Looney and De’Anthony Melton:
“The swap allows the Warriors to add another All-Star caliber player around Curry. Meanwhile, the Pelicans land a worthwhile young prospect and a handful of expiring contracts. One could argue that Golden State would need to add some sort of draft pick compensation too, but given Ingram’s modest value, Kuminga may offer more than enough appeal to not have to do so.”
