Given Tom Brady’s busy schedule, there is at least one NFL reporter who wouldn’t be surprised if the seven-time Super Bowl champion walks away from his broadcasting gig.
Known for being a perfectionist during his playing career, the 47-year-old has kept himself busy since retiring from the NFL. Along with investing in the Las Vegas Aces, Birmingham City of League One and his growing Brady Brand, TB12 is also part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
This is all while being the lead color commentator for the NFL on Fox after signing a $375 million deal over 10 years back in 2022.
With Brady now approaching the end of the first year of the deal, NFL reporter Richard Deitsch stated he wouldn’t be surprised if Tom walks away from the deal before the start of the 2025 NFL season.
“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Brady’s got too many irons in the fire,” Deitsch stated.”With his focus shifting to NFL ownership and his production company, don’t be surprised if he goes all-in off the field.”
While the take is a stunner, it isn’t impossible given Brady delayed his start with Fox and is becoming increasingly involved with the Raiders.
“He’s competitive and very thorough in everything he does,” said Raiders owner Mark Davis, who doesn’t view Brady as just a figurehead with the franchise.
Raiders revamp could be Brady’s focus
The Raiders enter the final game of the season with a 4-12 season in what has been another disappointing campaign for the franchise.
The fact they haven’t won a playoff game since 2002 when they were the Oakland Raiders, shows how much of a turnaround is needed to make Las Vegas competitive.
Antonio Pierce’s future as head coach is under threat, and with the team devoid of talent at several places, a new direction could be in order.

The NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Peter Schrager have previously stated that Brady will likely have a say in the team’s coaching decision, with former teammate and close friend Mike Vrabel viewed as an option.
This has added fuel to the fire that the Raiders and their future is slowly becoming Brady’s priority.
Phoenix Suns Shock Everybody By Sending Superstar Kevin Durant To NBA Heavyweight In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

A blockbuster trade proposal has the Phoenix Suns setting off fireworks across the NBA by dealing superstar Kevin Durant to a Western Conference juggernaut.
There’s no indication that the Suns are open to dealing Kevin Durant, or that the future Hall of Famer wants out. But the fact remains that Phoenix has one playoff series win in the KD era, and at 12-8 through 20 games, they don’t exactly resemble a championship contender.
If the Suns decide to shake up their All-Star core, Durant has to be the odd man out. Devin Booker isn’t going anywhere, and veteran guard Bradley Beal might have the most untradeable contract in the NBA.
Eddie Bitar of Fadeaway World proposed a mammoth trade idea that has Phoenix sending Kevin Durant back to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II, De’Anthony Melton and first-round picks in 2026 and 2029:
“The chemistry between Durant and Curry is unmatched, with the two feeding off each other’s strengths to devastate opposing defenses. If Durant’s time in Phoenix shows signs of stagnating, he could be motivated to initiate a trade to the Warriors—a team he knows will be ready to compete the moment he steps on the floor…
Most importantly, Durant’s departure could also allow Booker to further solidify his role as the franchise player, with Beal supporting him as an experienced scorer who has made the playoffs multiple times. The return for Durant would bring in a mix of young talent and future draft picks, potentially giving the Suns a balanced roster that can grow and adapt as Booker and Beal enter their prime. “
