Many NFL fans speculated during the height of the Patriots’ dynasty that Tom Brady and his teammates received a favorable whistle from officials, and now the baton has seemingly been passed to Mahomes and the Chiefs.
Look no further than Patrick Mahomes’s conversation with a ref right before his team was to take on the Houston Texans in the Divisional round.
Fans started to wonder what was being said before the two teams took the field.
“He was telling Mahomes not to worry because they have already received the call for the league Office?” one fan said.
