Former NFL quarterback Cam Newton is catching major backlash online.
On a recent podcast, Cam spoke glowingly about the former New England Patriots tight end and their friendship while they played at Florida together.
Newton stated Hernandez had a genuine heart.
“On my soul, on my first born. Only one from UF checked on me, Aaron. Shows our bond. Fun-loving, loved hard, trauma from father’s loss.”
As we all know, Hernandez was convicted of first-degree murder in 2015 for the killing of Odin Lloyd. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Hernandez died by suicide in 2017 when he was found hanging in his prison cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Massachusetts.
For that reason, Cam Newton is being blasted by fans online.
“Seems like everyday Cams trying to find a new way to remain relevant. Your times up, let it go,” one fan said.
“Idk why it needs to be talked about. People can be good and not good. I’d like horridly not good, might want to stay silent on the good parts…” another fan added.
“What’s your point he murdered, at a minimum, two innocent souls, Yeah most pedophiles are friendly people to the public and neighbors in passing to that have experience trauma. Are we supposed to pity them because deep down at the core is darkness and awful horrible beings that deserve to be locked up/6 feet under,” a third person stated.
“Cam Newton is a clown and will say whatever he thinks will create buzz around his name, lol 🤡🤡,” a fourth person commented.
One final fan stated: “Actually, none of that matters. He was a wannabe gang member and a cold-blooded killer. F–k that guy Aaron Hernandez.”
Cam Newton Set Record Straight on Aaron Hernandez Stolen Laptop Incident
Cam Newton had an unlikely start to his college football career.
Newton had quite the college career, and he ended up winning the Heisman trophy once he played for the Auburn football team.
However, many may forget the time he played for the Florida Gators as he sat behind Tim Tebow.
He was eventually kicked off the Florida team because of a stolen laptop.
Aaron Hernandez was one of Newton’s teammates while playing with the Florida football team.
‘American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez’ on FX dove into the stolen laptop incident, but Cam had something to clear up.
Cam Newton: “I did not get kicked out of Florida. They had a scene where it was like we’re kicking you off the team. Never got kicked off, and that’s right hand to God.”
Peggy: “Did you and Urban ever have a sit down after the situation?”
Cam Newton: “You know what’s crazy I never saw Urban, or never had a sit down with him after the incident happen. It just was whatever. They were like Cam Newton is out indefinitely Then I got put back on the team and it was during the off-season. I’m saying to myself how crazy enough it is that the most sensitive time in my life ended up being the best decision I ever made in my life. Think about that laptop. People may think that’s why you got kicked out. I look at that laptop as my damn life raft.”
Him leaving Florida turned out to be the best career move for him.

GTA 6 broke the record for the longest wait between a first and second trailer for a Rockstar Games title ever.
Rockstar has built a rich world of criminals, lunatics, and thieves spanning from Liberty City to San Andreas and beyond. With GTA 6 on the horizon, fans have become ecstatic after seeing a picture of Lucia.
For those unaware, she is a female criminal in the game. Grand Theft Auto states that she did her time at a prison complex in the State of Leonida in the mid-2020s for an unknown crime.
As anticipation builds for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, a picture shows Lucia stripped down to a two-piece bikini.

Fans Have Waited A Long Time For Grand Theft Auto To Release New Game
After more than a decade of waiting, Grand Theft Auto VI is supposedly finally set to come out in 2025.
Despite their hopes for a release this year fading, the community remains engaged in hopes that a second trailer will be released in early 2025 and a release date of the actual game will come out.
With each passing day, the desire for more news grows stronger.
Hopefully, 2025 will give the fans what they so desperately want.
