As Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift celebrate the one-year anniversary of their highly-publicized relationship, the Kansas City Chiefs’ superstar tight end is reportedly getting ready to pop the question.
Early in the 2023 NFL season, Taylor Swift essentially confirmed rumors that she’s dating Travis Kelce by attending the Chiefs’ Week 3 home game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.
And now, Kelce is reportedly getting ready to propose.
According to a report from Carlos Greer and Eileen Reslen of Page Six, the beloved power couple will soon become engaged, with an insider telling them it’ “happening soon.”
Here are more details from Page Six:
“Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will be engaged soon, sources tell Page Six.
A Kelce insider told us the Kansas City Chiefs star has a plan in place to get on bended knee — and put an end to speculation about the couple’s future.
On Thursday night at a Kansas City concert by country star Morgan Wallen, we hear that the wife of a top Chiefs exec was overheard telling pals in a suite that the team’s famed tight end and Swift are already engaged.”
The Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce relationship has led to intense media coverage, and the NFL has embraced the additional attention from “Swifties.” If Kelce puts the ring on soon, the Chiefs will enjoy an even greater following from Swift’s fanbase this year.
For several months, it has been widely reported that Kelce would eventually propose to the legendary singer, even though their relationship had yet to hit the one-year milestone. We’ll find out soon enough if the new bombshell report from Page Six proves accurate.
Swift attended 13 total Kansas City Chiefs games in 2023, including all four of their postseason games. She was in a luxury suite for the Chiefs’ thrilling overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58.
A Special Year Is Ahead For Travis Kelce
2024 has already been a special enough year for Kelce, who helped the Chiefs to a successful Super Bowl repeat in February. If he proposes to Swift soon, it will be the cherry on top of a special year for the future Hall of Famer.
No team in NFL history has ever won three straight Super Bowls. Kelce already has three championship rings in his back pocket, but will he soon make it five, with a fourth Super Bowl and a wedding ring? Stay tuned.

The Brooklyn Nets faced a challenging defeat on Wednesday, suffering a 113-98 loss to the Detroit Pistons. While the team was unable to secure a win, young star Noah Clowney had a standout performance. However, the game wasn’t without its setbacks for Clowney, as he was left shaken by an elbow to the neck from Pistons center Isaiah Stewart.
The incident took place with the score at 23-27 when Stewart seemingly made an intentional move by elbowing Clowney in the neck. As a result, Stewart was assessed a Flagrant 1 foul for the dangerous elbow. The elbow left Clowney struggling to breathe after being hit in the windpipe. The Slo-Mo clip of the incident reveals that Stewart’s actions were deliberate.
Despite the injury, Clowney continued to play through the discomfort and delivered a stellar performance for the Nets. He recorded a career-high 29 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. He has achieved a milestone as the youngest player in franchise history to score 25+ points, grab 5+ rebounds, and make 5+ three-pointers in a single game.
Noah Clowney Reflects On His Three-Point Shooting Success With Nets
After the Brooklyn Nets’ loss to the Detroit Pistons, Noah Clowney opened up about his improvement in three-point shooting. Despite shooting just 29% from beyond the arc during his time at Alabama, Clowney has shown significant progress with the Nets this season.
“I don’t like where teams have the ability to sack off because I’m a weak shooter. I shot 29 percent at Alabama, but I knew I could shoot. Other people knew I could shoot. Somebody took a chance, and here we are. I feel like I can get in the lane,” Clowney said.
