Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, appeared on Cameron Brink’s podcast this week to discuss a plethora of topics, including her “hot take” on underwear.
Nicole, a Pepperdine University graduate, has been a fairly popular name in the world of sports for several years. While she definitely generated some buzz as Kelce’s girlfriend from 2017-2022, she has carved out an impressive career as both a journalist and fitness influencer. She’s currently the host of the “I Am Athlete Daily” podcast.
Before Nicole talked about her fitness brand, Tribe Therepe, she shared her thoughts on wearing underwear in public. Her take on this topic might just surprise you.
Nicole admit that she’s not a huge fan of wearing underwear. In fact, she referred to it as “entirely overrated” while on Brink’s podcast.
“This is my confession,” Nicole said. “Wearing underwear is entirely overrated. More women need to do what Sexyy Red says and let that [expletive] breathe.”

Despite what she said about underwear, Nicole acknowledged there are occasions where her personal preference must be placed to the side.
“There are certain circumstances where I do think you need to put on underwear, like denim or a short skirt,” Nicole added.
While these comments from Nicole might be seen as controversial to some, it appears the majority of the listeners for “Straight to Cam” agree with her.
“Right there with you! The underwear is worn when needed,” one person wrote on Instagram.
“I’d like to second this,” another person commented.
“Glad someone said it cause yeah,” a third person said.
It’s safe to say Nicole was speaking up for a handful of people, not just herself.
