In February 2025, Detroit Pistons star Malik Beasley caused quite a stir among fans during an interview with YouTuber N3on when he made a bold claim regarding Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden.
Beasley stated that guarding Harden was relatively simple when asked about the most challenging players he has had to defend throughout his career. However, just two weeks later, Harden delivered an incredible response, showcasing his skills with a breathtaking performance. On March 5, Harden erupted for his first 50-point game since 2019, propelling the Clippers to a thrilling 123–115 triumph over the Detroit Pistons.
Harden also made waves by addressing Beasley’s comments during a recent meeting with YouTuber N3on, effectively countering Beasley’s trash talk with confidence and flair.
“He was talking sh*t here,” Harden said.
Harden remarked that he noticed Beasley labelling him as the easiest player to guard in the league during NEON’s stream, which fueled his motivation to deliver an impressive 50-point performance against Beasley.
