In what has already been a history-making past few months for the Heisman Trophy-winning athlete, Travis Hunter made things even better when he signed with Lil Wayne’s Young Money APAA Sports agency.
Hunter’s decision came as he prepares for the NFL Draft after an unforgettable season with the Colorado Buffaloes.
Unfortunately, the latter part of his year was filled with controversy, which was caused by his fiancee’s actions.
Even though things have been quiet in recent weeks, they have now picked back up.
In a resurfaced video, Travis Hunter and Deion Sanders could be seen meeting with rapper Lil Wayne.
This was obviously the first time Leanna Lenee was seeing Wayne in person because she immediately started crying.
Young Money APAA Sports has been putting in work as they represent various athletes, with a roster of clients across the NFL, NBA, soccer, and college sports.
The agency already represents New England Patriots defender Isaiah Bolden and recently signed new Duke University Quarterback to a two-year, $8 million NIL deal.
Heisman Trophy Winner Travis Hunter Thanked His Fiancee For Putting Him On To Lil Wayne’s Music
Heisman Trophy Award winner Travis Hunter inked a deal with Hip-Hop superstar Lil Wayne’s sports agency, Young Money APAA Sports.
This wouldn’t be possible without his fiancee.
The University of Colorado superstar defensive back and wide receiver decided to sign with Lil Wayne’s agency over competitors, including WME, Klutch Sports Group, CAA, and Athletes First.
During his Heisman speech, Travis Hunter thanked many people, including his fiancee, for getting him to love and enjoy Wayne’s music.
“Wayne, you don’t know how you came into our life. My fiancée loves you,” Hunter said, with the rapper in attendance.
“I didn’t know none of your songs until she let me know because I don’t listen to music. She let me know, she told me, ‘You gotta listen to this. If you’re going to listen to (music), listen to Wayne.’”
Travis Hunter then went on to explain that Wayne’s songs played a big part in his pre-game warmups.
“From that day on, that is all I listen to,” Hunter said. “Pregame music, those are the songs I’m listening to. When I get in that TRX, and I blast that music, I’m listening to Wayne.”
“It’s crazy. 6 Foot, 7 Foot, 8 Foot. … That’s my song,” Travis Hunter added. “I respect you for coming out here and supporting me, man.”
VIDEO: Some Dude Just Dropped The Cold Hard Truth On Why All Of These NFL Prospects Are “Dating White Women”

Unless this is your first day in America, then you know race relations in this country dominate just everything, and that includes NBA and NFL drafts
During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.
The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.
This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.
One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.
He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.
He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.
