Bleacher Report on Wednesday predicted the 25 best athletes of the next 25 years and to the surprise of many fans, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese was ranked above reigning NBA champion Jayson Tatum. Reese was 23rd, while Tatum was 24th.

Basketball fans took to X to roast Reese’s position on the list.

“Angel Reese is absolutely garbage. Tatum is too but doesn’t deserve to be higher than Angel,” a fan tweeted.

“NBA champion Jayson Tatum is under Angel Reeese?????” another fan tweeted.

“Threw up when I saw this and I dislike Tatum 😭✌🏽,” a fan said.

“Angel Reeese isn’t even meant to be in top 100 bro,” another fan said.

“i’m a Celtics hater and even I can admit this is f**king absurd 😭,” one fan wrote.

“Whoever made this list must be on crack,” another fan wrote.

Reese is coming off a historic rookie season in the WNBA, having broken records with her rebounding prowess and double-double consistency. She was also the only rookie alongside Caitlin Clark to be selected as a WNBA All-Star. However, many fans believe that placing her above Tatum on the list is disrespectful towards the NBA star.

Apart from Reese and Tatum, seven other basketball stars made the list, including Paige Bueckers (16), JuJu Watkins (14), Luka Doncic (8), Cooper Flagg (5), Anthony Edwards (4), Caitlin Clark (2) and Victor Wembanyama (1).

Angel Reese reacts to her ‘top-athlete podcast’ recognition

Apart from her on-court success in the WNBA, Angel Reese also runs a successful podcast, ‘Unapologetically Angel,’ on YouTube. The Chicago Sky star started it in September and it has been ranked among the top athlete-led podcasts heading into 2025, according to Boardroom.

The only other woman-led podcast featured in the list was WNBA legend Sue Bird’s “A Touch More” which she hosts with her partner Megan Rapinoe.

Reese took to Instagram to reshare Boardroom’s post along with a note of gratitude.

“Thank ya,” Reese captioned on Thursday.

Phoenix Suns Shock Everybody By Sending Superstar Kevin Durant To NBA Heavyweight In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

A blockbuster trade proposal has the Phoenix Suns setting off fireworks across the NBA by dealing superstar Kevin Durant to a Western Conference juggernaut.

There’s no indication that the Suns are open to dealing Kevin Durant, or that the future Hall of Famer wants out. But the fact remains that Phoenix has one playoff series win in the KD era, and at 12-8 through 20 games, they don’t exactly resemble a championship contender.

If the Suns decide to shake up their All-Star core, Durant has to be the odd man out. Devin Booker isn’t going anywhere, and veteran guard Bradley Beal might have the most untradeable contract in the NBA.

Eddie Bitar of Fadeaway World proposed a mammoth trade idea that has Phoenix sending Kevin Durant back to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II, De’Anthony Melton and first-round picks in 2026 and 2029:

“The chemistry between Durant and Curry is unmatched, with the two feeding off each other’s strengths to devastate opposing defenses. If Durant’s time in Phoenix shows signs of stagnating, he could be motivated to initiate a trade to the Warriors—a team he knows will be ready to compete the moment he steps on the floor…

Most importantly, Durant’s departure could also allow Booker to further solidify his role as the franchise player, with Beal supporting him as an experienced scorer who has made the playoffs multiple times. The return for Durant would bring in a mix of young talent and future draft picks, potentially giving the Suns a balanced roster that can grow and adapt as Booker and Beal enter their prime. “
