Kelsey Plum is set to join the Los Angeles Sparks in a stunning three-way trade, and the social media fans couldn’t stop gushing over it. While Jewell Loyd makes her way to the Las Vegas Aces, the excitement among the Sparks fans is palpable.
Plum’s departure from the Aces comes after she was named the franchise player, highlighting her importance to the team. With a strong average of 17.8 points and 4.2 assists last season, her skills will be a valuable addition to the Sparks. The team is looking to strengthen their young core, which includes promising talents like Rickea Jackson and Cameron Brink.
Returning to her roots in California, where she grew up in Poway, adds an emotional angle to her move. She will reunite with former Aces teammate Dearica Hamby. Bringing in Plum adds an experienced guard to the Sparks’ promising lineup. The 2x WNBA champion will form a deadly trio with rising stars Rickea Jackson and Cameron Brink.
Like Jewel Loyd, Plum has spent her entire WNBA career with the Las Vegas franchise after being drafted first overall in 2017 when the team was based in San Antonio. Although, Loyd’s trade to the Aces marks the end of an era in Seattle. She spent her entire career since being drafted in 2015. A six-time All-Star and two-time champion, Loyd averaged an impressive 19.7 points and 4.5 rebounds last season.
Internet Is Going Crazy Over The New Los Angeles Sparks Trio After The Blockbuster Kelsey Plum Trade
In Plum’s exchange, the Sparks gave up the No. 2 draft pick and Li Yueru while also bringing home the No. 9 pick. Meanwhile, the Aces acquire the 13th pick, allowing them to continue building on their championship legacy. And the Sparks’ fanbase is getting excited for the latest signing.
“Yea sparks winning the chip,” a fan commented.
“The sparks are gonna be insanely good,” another fan commented.
“This trio is sick,” an enthusiast fan wrote.
“Good day to be a Cameron Brink fan,” a user wrote.
“That’s a solid trio in LA. I like that combo,” added another one.
“Sparks just got a lot better. Rooting for Jewell in LV, hoping she eats while A’ja draws more attention,” a user commented.
However, it is a good day to be a Sparks fan. And it will only get better from the day Plum steps into the court in the team’s colors.
VIDEO: Some Dude Just Dropped The Cold Hard Truth On Why All Of These NFL Prospects Are “Dating White Women”

Unless this is your first day in America, then you know race relations in this country dominate just everything, and that includes NBA and NFL drafts
During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.
The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.
This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.
One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.
He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.
He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.
