“Absolutely Heart-Stopping” – I’m A Celeb’s Angry Ginge Breaks Down In Tears As Shock Family Reunion Unleashes Emotional Meltdown On ITV

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here viewers are preparing themselves for one of the most emotional moments of the series after ITV released a teaser showing Angry Ginge bursting into tears during an emotional family reunion. The short clip, which was posted ahead of tonight’s episode, shows the streamer instantly covering his face the moment he spots his loved ones.

He then sprints towards them, scrunching his eyes shut as he becomes emotionally overwhelmed, before being swallowed into a big hug. In the footage, his mum Michelle and sister Tasha can be seen sobbing as they wrap their arms around him.

The moment has already struck a chord with fans, who immediately flooded the comments section with messages like: “Who’s cutting onions!!”, and “Who else is crying?”

Another added that they were “sobbing” after watching the intimate scene. The touching clip has been shared by ITV bosses just days after Michelle spoke to The Mirror about her son’s gradual rise to fame.

The single mum detailed some of the struggles she faced while her son Morgan Burtwistle was growing up, including working multiple low-paid jobs to cover her family’s bills and dealing with the mortgage on their ex-council home in Eccles alone.

Michelle was thrown into the spotlight after Morgan told his campmates the moving story of all the sacrifices she made for him and his sister Tasha before she was eventually forced to sell their family home despite scraping an income together from three different jobs.

Morgan went to live with his Nana to ease his mum’s financial burden, which Michelle has admitted was a huge emotional relief at the time. What she didn’t realise was that her son was launching a career online that she didn’t initially understand.

At first Morgan’s videos didn’t get many views, and he almost gave up on being a Twitch streamer in 2020 before a memory of his late grandad pushed him to give it one last try.

Michelle only realised how famous her son was becoming when he revealed that 85,000 had tuned in to one of his broadcasts, and one of his viewers was footballing legend Wayne Rooney – who later became friends with the boy and even invited Morgan to his son’s christening.

The proud mum gushed: “I never ever thought in a million years I’d ever be coming to Australia but to be coming for this reason as well…none of us can believe it.”

This emotional family reunion comes during a week where Morgan has faced scrutiny from some viewers over disagreements in camp, including minor disputes about chores and food.

The tensions have coincided with an unfortunate shift in his odds to win, but his mum has defended Angry Ginge, telling Manchester Evening News: “He’s doing really good. He’s doing amazing, I’m really proud of him. The challenges he’s done, he’s done well in all of them.

“He’s really tried and put his heart into it, so I’m really pleased. He’s always been competitive and emotional, it’s just a different side to when he’s streaming. Him being who he is in the jungle is actually showing himself, rather than who he is on the camera.”
