Micheal Ward, who appeared in the BAFTA-winning series Top Boy, has arrived at Thames Magistrates’ Court in London to face r@pe and s3xual assault allegations. The Netflix star, also known for roles in shows and films including Small Axe and Blue Story, is charged with two counts of r@pe and three counts of s3xual assault. According to the Metropolitan Police, the alleged offences relate to one woman and are reported to have happened in January 2023. The 27-year-old denies the charges and added that he had cooperated with police fully throughout their investigation.

The wife of Welsh rock legend Dave Edmunds recounted the horrifying moments she was told her husband had died.
It came as she provided an update on the singer’s health. The Cardiff-born star has been battling for his life in hospital for the past month after suffering a severe cardiac arrest at his home in Monmouthshire. However, his wife Cecelia Edmunds, affectionately known as Cici, has informed fans that his prognosis is now “looking positive”, but shared a devastating moment as medical staff saved his life.
She posted a heartbreaking message on Facebook describing the terrifying ordeal at their Rockfield, Monmouthshire residence. She recounted her desperate attempts to “keep him alive” whilst a nurse administered “heavy CPR” on Dave at their property.
Cici recalled the nurse’s devastating words: “Cici, I’m gonna stop. Dave is gone. He is dead.” Nevertheless, she explained how she refused to abandon hope for her husband and appealed to supporters to send prayers and messages of encouragement for Dave.

Following the incident, she revealed he had sustained severe brain damage and memory loss and remained at “high risk” of suffering another cardiac arrest.
The 81 year old, famed for his 1970 Christmas number one hit and cover of Smiley Lewis’ ‘I Hear You Knockin’, and later a member of Rockpile with Nick Lowe, reportedly “died in her arms” before being resuscitated by medical professionals.
Dave enjoyed a successful career playing with the band Love Sculpture, touring with Ringo Starr’s All Starr Band, and working as a producer His wife Cici, who has been married to the guitarist for over 40 years, has shared a “fantastic” update about her beloved husband’s condition, revealing that he had been allowed home for a visit, reports Wales Online.
She expressed hope that Dave will be back to “rocking and rolling soon”.
Posting on social media, Cici said: “Fantastic news about my beloved husband Dave Edmunds of 40 years. He was allowed home on a home visit from hospital.
After his long month stay after suffering a major cardiac arrest and horrifically dying in my arms. As you all kind-hearted human souls’ know he was resurrected by a miracle and amazing medical team, myself and my nurse.
“Amazing news everyone! He did so well on the home visit. He’s allowed to stay here at home if my nurses look after us both.
“Yeah! I can’t express my relief and my gratitude to all of you who have left such lovely posts of support and prayers.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart . I’ll keep you all updated on here.
“It’s looking positive. He’s cracking jokes and walking short distances. Very short. But one has to start somewhere. He’s doing great!”
