They didn’t hold back on their feelings.

GB News presenter Patrick Christys, who hosts the Tonight show on the news channel, launched a scathing attack on Keir Starmer’s Labour Party in a withering social media post. The 33-year-old father of one, who is married to fellow GB News presenter Emily Carver, took to X to express his feelings about the party. Taking to X, he penned: “This is the most deceitful government in history. Everything is a lie.” His blistering sentiment was flooded with support in the comments as people rushed to agree with him.
“It is staggering … we need a constitution that holds people accountable for lies, fraud, and deception,” one person penned. “One has to feel sorry for them, though, because if they stopped lying, they would succumb from lack of oxygen,” another added. A third quipped: “Agree, but at least they are doing one thing right, and that’s thankfully making Labour a nonexistent party and unelectable.”

“Patrick, at what point can all these lies get them booted out? I thought if you broke manifesto promises, or did something that wasn’t in your manifesto, that was it?” A fourth queried.
“And yet they all continue to keep their jobs! Make it make sense!” A fifth exclaimed.
Meanwhile, a sixth shared:” They’re utterly shameless. The lies started with the supposed 20 billion black hole, and they haven’t stopped since. They just lie automatically as if we can’t do anything, even if we are fully aware of it.”
Christys’ remarks came just days after Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves announced the budget which broke the party’s manifesto promises.

Labour promised in the run-up to the 2024 general election not to raise taxes on working people, ruling out increases in national insurance, the basic, higher, or additional rates of income tax, and VAT. Despite this, Reeves maintained a freeze on these contributions, which will lead to the ordinary worker paying more tax.
Challenged about the budget on Sky News, Reeves skirted the issue. “In the manifesto, we were very clear that it was the rates of income tax, National Insurance and VAT. But I’m not going to get into semantics. I recognise that we are asking people to contribute more by freezing those allowances.
“They were already frozen by the previous government from 2021-28, and we’re freezing them for a further three years.
“I do recognise that I was asking ordinary people to pay a little bit more, but I’ve managed to keep that contribution as low as I possibly can by closing loopholes and asking those with the broadest shoulders to pay more.”
